Stéphane Brochu

Stéphane Brochu currently serves as Vice President of ArcelorMittal and Chief Executive Officer for ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada, reporting to John Brett.

Stéphane began his career at Atlas Stainless Steel before joining the group in 1998 as a senior coordinator. He soon advanced to plant manager of the wire rod mill at the Contrecoeur East complex. In 2003, he was appointed plant manager of the cold rolling mills, and in 2005 he took on responsibility for flat products, continuing his leadership at Contrecoeur East.

In 2008, Stéphane became plant manager of the bar mill at Contrecoeur West. He later returned to Contrecoeur East as general manager in January 2017. Since November 2017, he has served as Chief Operations Officer of ArcelorMittal Long Products Canada, overseeing operations across the organization.

Stéphane holds a bachelor’s degree in metallurgy from Ecole Polytechnique of Montréal, Canada.
