Maxine Stankich

Maxine (Mackie) Stankich currently serves as Head of Human Resources and Communications for ArcelorMittal North America, reporting to John Brett.

Mackie started her career at the Community Healthcare Systems in 2005, where she held the position of internal auditor. In 2007 she joined ArcelorMittal USA as senior internal auditor, performing operational, financial and IT audits. In 2011, she served as senior analyst, providing financial and strategic analysis to support long-term strategy development and key decisions in all areas of the business.

In 2018 Mackie joined the department of employee benefits as division manager. After the sale of ArcelorMittal USA to Cleveland-Cliffs at the end of 2021, she integrated into Cleveland-Cliffs as director of the employee benefits department. She rejoined ArcelorMittal in March of 2022. Mackie holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance and an MBA from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, USA.
